A Clothing Exchange is an event where the public is invited to barter or exchange a wearable item. Each participant is asked to write a short explanation of why he or she is trading the item and why he or she selected a particular item in exchange. This interaction is documented and the documentation becomes a part of future display and exhibitions.
A Recipe Exchange is an event where the public is invited to participate in the sharing of recipes, food related memories and various kinds of inspired foodstuffs. One event included a drop box located on a college campus and within a gallery installation. Participants were asked to write about a dish that symbolized home to them. These thoughts and recipes were collected and became a part of a final installation for everyone to peruse.
